Has anyone been on flueoxitine and ADHD medication and finally found ADHD medication that suits you, and then decided to come off of the flueoxitine? How was this for you? I am currently waiting for the final choice of the non stimulant ADHD medication. Has anyone got that far and decided to come off of the flueoxitine?

Hi, has your prescriber or GP given you any pointers or options on what titration could look like with combining medications and your specific experience with Fluoxetine?
To confirm, I’m not medically trained, but in this sort of case the prescriber should usually introduce or advise on steps carefully to monitor side effects of combining as well as making you well informed about options with changing or stopping other medications including SSRIs. Each person’s experience can be quite different with titration including non stimulant ADHD medication, and including the why, when, and how to taper off current medications.
At the same time it can be really helpful to hear of other’s experiences too alongside, even as a support on how others approached conversations with their prescriber etc. Others reading will likely be in the same boat and also wondering, so thanks for posting
