RTC How to choose a provider?

Hi all, my GP has asked me to look into my options for an Autism/ADHD referral with RTC and choose a provider and let them know. However I keep getting an error* when I’m trying to find out the waiting times for assessments on the ADHD UK RTC page.

How did you all choose your provider? Did you just go off waiting times or were there other things you considered?

*This is the error " Error You are trying to load a table of an unknown type. Probably you did not activate the addon which is required to use this table type."

I did consider waiting times that is what I went off to get my diagnosis as some of them were still a year, but if you can see on right to choose website the name. I would go to there website, get phone number and give each one a call, they will be able to tell you wait times and there process this some thing I did

I had the same issue and, having exhausted myself trying to problem solve on many different devices (assuming it was my inability to focus and process the information) I eventually contacted Right to Choose. They responded quite quickly and explained they were having technical issues their end which they hope to resolve soon. Advised to revisit site next week. Fingers crossed issues will be resolved so we can all get this task ticked off so we can return focus to managing the day to day challenges of ADHD!

I’ve had exactly the same problem- I’ve tried PC, iPhone, laptop, unblocking cookies etc etc . Hopefully ADHDUK will see your message and others that are having the same problem

Montrose Health Group will open their RTC pathway early May. Depending on where you live you can have a 1-13 week wait.

I am having the same issue. I have been relying on the adhd uk website to look at wait times and now when I need it most it says the same error message on every device I have tried even when I accept cookies, etc. I really hope it will be fixed soon as I need to choose a provider and this list of wait times was the most reliable reference point.

I used Care ADHD, via RTC. It took just over six months from submitting the forms to my GP, and took about a month for notification that the surgery had sent to Care ADHD, I had my assessment a few days over six months after my submission.

Could you kindly provide a list of providers on your list please as my doctors should have completed her referral before in February 2026 but I have to start again with a new provider
