Hi All,
My GP referral experience was great, despite fearing the worst. Unfortunately I selected Care ADHD based on the Right to choose website initial lead times, only to then be told by Care ADHD that the wait times are much longer. I’ve just checked the right to choose website and it’s still showing as immediate, where i’ve been told to expect 4-8 week wait for contact. Then a further 10 week wait for medication.
Has anyone experienced similar?
A warning to anyone trusting the guidance on wait times.

It’s great to hear your GP referral went well and thank you for sharing. It’s helpful to hear of any changes or differences like this so it can be flagged with the provider.

Thanks for following up, as a typical adhd personlity i havent revisited the post i made to see any follow ups.
Interestingly though, and despite the guidance provided by someone at CareADHD, my appointment and assessment has happened fairly quickly.
I was actually assessed and diagnosed today and found the experience positively liberating, so i will have to backtrack on my initial grumpy post.
