Hello everyone this is my first post

Hello everyone this is my first post. I am nearly 50 and was diagnosed with ADHD 2021. I also have other complex medical conditions.

One of the things I find really frustrating and confusing is websites, online forms and services.

There has been so many times when there is too much information, it is not always clear where to start, and the whole process can become very stressful.

I’d be really interested to hear what other people experience, what makes things easier or harder for them and how they cope with it.

Thank you.

I can identify with this, I’m very bad with online forms too. Honestly, I think there getting worse and not ADHD friendly. The security measures seem excessive too.

There are some organisations that will offer support with this kind of thing. like HMRC for example.

Some times i copy and paste the text into word and use the “read aloud feature”

Microsoft and google both have their own read aloud feature, and there are some apps like speechify which I’ve found helpful for longer documents with free and paid tiers.

I take microbreaks when I start to feel that I’m getting to my limit rather than pushing through. A few minutes break can sometimes be enough for me to have a little reset. Of course, sometimes a struggle can be becoming distracted by something else during the break..
