Moving providers for titration - is this possible?

I just got my diagnosis with clinical partners and the waiting time for titration is 12-18 months. Is there any way to move to a different provider with a shorter waiting time?

Thanks.

I would also like to know the answer to this as I am in the same position!

Thank you

Hi, thanks for the post.

If starting from a private assessment, you may be able to transfer into NHS care without a full reassessment, but your GP/ new provider will likely review and then choose whether to accept. This can also depend on your local Integrated Care Board’s current policies.

If the assessment was originally through the ‘Right to Choose’ pathway, you can request your GP to change to another Right to Choose provider. However, its best to confirm that the new provider will accept a transfer of care and to keep things in place until the new provider confirms acceptance of the transfer.

Below is a link to the current wait times for Right to Choose providers.
