Private diagnosis transferring to RTC - Birmingham ICB

Hi guys,

Just wanted to know if anyone has this experience / offer any help. I got diagnosed in March 2025 privately with ADHD360. I went through my titration ect with them and once stable my GP rejected my shared care. This meant I was paying £180 a month for a private prescription.

I have been referred under the RTC pathway but the Birmingham and Solihull ICB currently has a pause and an average of 66 weeks wait.

I’ve seen stuff online that says even though the shared care has been rejected I could still possibly get NHS prescriptions?

Does anyone have experience with this. I’m at a loose end and have been paying privately for a script for a year and a half.
